Pre-conception Counseling

Dr. Pierce will meet with her patients that are attempting to become pregnant and perform a pre-conception risk assessment to identify any complications that may arise. The goal of this counseling is to help women establish a timeframe that will allow her to better prepare her body for successful conception and pregnancy.

Preterm Labor

Preterm labor occurs when your body begins preparations for birth too early in your pregnancy. Dr. Pierce will advise her patients of all possible options to delay an early delivery. The longer your baby has to grow inside of you — the less likely he or she will have problems after birth.

Breast Disorders

The breasts can develop many types of disorders. Dr. Pierce will examine and counsel her patients in order to develop the best plan of action for patients who have been diagnosed with a breast disorder whether it is cancerous or not.

Contraceptive Management

Elite Womens Care Center has several contraceptive options available to our patients. Dr. Pierce will discuss the benefits and risks of each birth control method in detail to ensure the patient is familiar with each option.

Sterilization is a form of birth control that is meant to be permanent. Dr. Pierce will counsel you on all aspects of sterilization before deciding on this course of action to include the benefits, disadvantages, risks and effectiveness if this procedure is an option.

Cervical Dysplasia

Cervical dysplasia (a precancerous condition) is strongly associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It is most common in women under age 30 but can develop at any age. Cervical dysplasia usually causes no symptoms, and is most often discovered by a routine Pap test.

Adolescent Gynecology

Many young women have special needs and concerns about changes in their bodies. Dr. Pierce provides the kind of one-on-one care young women want in an atmosphere that allows them to feel comfortable talking about their health.

HPV vaccine

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted virus in the U.S. Most HPV infections don’t cause any symptoms, and go away on their own. HPV is important mainly because it can cause cervical cancer. Dr. Pierce will counsel the patient on all aspects of the HPV vaccine to include its benefits, risks and effectiveness.
